I’ve always made a habit of saying I knew how to do something, then figured it out later. This has led to being called all kinds of names. Starting with ‘Editor’, then ‘Content Creative’, followed by ‘Art Director’ and now mostly just ‘Creative’ or ‘Director’. Which I’ve been doing for the last 10 years at Publicis, TBWA, Special, and now Hooves.

While being called a “creative” – I launched Bumble to the Australian market, won a Cannes Lion by connecting Art and Tennis, was shipped off to London to secure the ‘McVities’ account, taught at AWARD school, and was named Emerging Creative of the Year at MADC.

And when being called a  “director” I’ve collaborated with Egyptian artist Moktar on an infrared walkthrough of Al Duqqi, expressed a queer positive love story with pop singer Okay Angel, and made a fair few ads for brands like Bumble, NAB and Lavazza.

Whatever name you’d like to call me is fine, I’m sure you’ll come up with something better than my parents.
